I remember when i saw Rendez-Vous first time live. Gig was in a little swetty rock-club. I watched this rumbling group with smile on my face. My own musical intresses are more oriented in Britain music scene, but good rock-music with attitude has always worked with me. Where most bands fade out from your retinas and eardrums when last note is played, Rendez-Vous left its label on both. After the gig i talked with band lead singer Juffi and other members and noticed instantly that ewen after rough act the show wasn`t over. This thing was done with big hearts and after walking away from stage even ewery beer was part of well-earned rock`n roll dream. Some go with their chains and play rock stars, some are them for real. Next i heard Rendez-Vous from radio and found their debyt album in a record store. It`s not ewery band that i have hoped to make it so sincerely than Rendez-Vous. I was wondering that how this kind of hurricane has been possible to fit in one album. Well, it was impossible and i was missing the energy that was being transmitted at gigs. At that time i did not know my long waiting was going to be rewarded. Rendez-Vous strenght has always been sprawling policy coarse line. Solutions have been made more like what feels right instead with calculator. There will always be splatter when mortar is spread, and ewerything needs to be renovated sometimes. Also Rendez-Vous that reformed its lines after debyt album and recorded Raivotanssi album where band was experimenting their new line. In new Rendez-Vous album Punaiset lyhdyt the band has grabbed those wild ideas and stands with even more reckless attitude. Band went to Tampere to record their piece of art that was prodused with legendary Mefisto Miettinen. In raging rock`n roll parties this group goes like express train kidnapped by bandits and counter weight is sensitivity that leaves no doubt that own experienses can be heard in lyrics and playing. Ewery broken heart and decay romantic verse is more than patethic yearning. Its fucking true! In new album can be heard mature and raw Rendez-Vous at the same time, that can not be skipped. I hope that you enjoy this album that really stands out from wimpy modern rock music as much as i do.

History

Rendez-Vous was foud in halloween 2002 with Juffi and Kimmo. Band played one year and two gigs with Juffi, Kimmo, Iwor, Fabio and Rony. Drummer Rony is replaced with Tuuras and with this group band did gigs for one year again. First self-puplished release also saw daylight. When band was makin its second release, Tommy took his place behind drumset. We made Toinen luku album and three record labels showed their intress immediately. Yobs went to Warner. Our program office was Popgee. 2006 we made debyt album Valta vaihtuu with producer Riionheimo in Turku NoiceCamp, and vocals in Hip-studio at Helsinki. It sold about 1300 copyes. It was album of the week at YleX and singles Kesäyö and Toinen luku were played in radio all the time. Kimmo leaves the band and is replaced by Iwor. Guutti takes the bass. Music is chancing clearly more like rock. Band leaves Warner. We are tryin to hunt new deal with new demos but cannot find one. We record new album in NoiceCamp at Turku thats been published by ExtemporeChords. That album is called Raivotanssi. At this point Fabio left slowly behind. Slowly Rony takes the bass and Guutti starts playing second guitar. Few gig are made and Tommy indicates that he is going to leave the band. We are doing gigs with different drummers and even made new single. In the end of summer 2008 Archie found himself behind drums. Later that year we started to record an album with Mefisto Miettinen in Ylöjärvi. He has his own studio there. Making the record is slow in many ways. Mostly because of sceduals. Rony leaves the band in may.
